During this training participants will develop an understanding of the purpose of the Fourth Edition of NAEYC’s Position Statement on Developmentally Appropriate Practice that was published in 2020. Participants will discuss the Core Considerations used to inform decision making. As the professionals establish a deeper understanding of the Principles, they will be asked to discuss how they can ensure to implement these practices with all children. Participants will also examine how the DAP Guidelines help support educators ensure implementation in their practices within their program.
Note: Approximately three weeks before the webinar, registrants will receive an email to confirm receipt of their registration request and important instructions that should be viewed prior to the day of the session.
