Event Navigation
Creating safe, trusting, and supportive learning environments is essential for all young children, especially those in early childhood special education and blended preschool settings. This workshop, Building Safety and Trust: Trauma-Informed Practices in Early Childhood, will equip educators with practical strategies to recognize and respond to the impact of trauma on children’s behavior, learning, and social-emotional development. Participants will explore ways to foster strong, nurturing relationships, implement trauma-informed practices in daily routines, and create inclusive environments that support every child’s sense of safety and belonging. Real-life examples, reflection exercises, and hands-on strategies will empower teachers to build resilience, strengthen connections, and promote positive outcomes for all children in their classrooms.
Note: Approximately three weeks before the webinar, registrants will receive an email to confirm receipt of their registration request and important instructions that should be viewed prior to the day of the session.
