Equity Symposium: Reaching Families Considered “Hard to Reach” – Webinar

Participants will identify methods for engaging families in culturally responsive ways. Hands on strategies and techniques that ensures extending dignity and respect while avoiding the shaming and blaming often associated with deficit model thinking and practices will be presented.

Recommended prerequisite:  Dr. Shantel Meek laid the groundwork for all of these sessions during the Sharing A Vision conference (October 8, 2021).  Her session will be available to view for credit as a stand alone asynchronous session prior to the Equity Symposium sessions.  You can register for that session here:  https://www.cvent.com/d/zmqq4z
