Rosemarie Allen is an Associate Professor at MSU Denver focusing on ensuring future teachers understand how equity, bias, privilege, and power impact teaching practices. She is also the founder and CEO of the Institute for Racial Equity & Excellence. As Director with the Colorado Department of Human Services she was responsible for the child care licensing program, QRIS, and Colorado’s early learning guidelines. She the national expert on implicit bias in ECE speaking at conferences worldwide.
