AI in Practice: Tools, Teaching, and Tiny Humans (Recommended prerequisite: What AI Is) – On-Demand

August 1, 2026 @ 8:00 amJune 11, 2027 @ 3:00 pm

Registration for this on-demand training will close on June 10, 2027.  It is recommended that you view “What AI Is-and Isn’t-for Early Childhood”On-Demand as a prerequisite.
This session brings AI to life in early childhood classrooms through real-world educator examples and Gemini demonstrations. Participants will learn how to use AI to create visual schedules, generate social stories, and support inclusive communication with families—especially for children with disabilities and IEP/504 plans. With a focus on alignment to IELDS and GOLD, this session empowers teachers to use AI as a behind-the-scenes partner that supports, rather than replaces, human connection and responsive teaching. (Recorded 5/2025)

Please note:  You will receive a confirmation email with important information about how to access the on-demand video.  The voucher code will work between the dates of August 1, 2026 – June 11, 2027.  You must watch the video, complete the knowledge check, and ISBE evaluation before 3:00PM on June 11, 2027, to receive professional development credit.
