Building Self-Regulation Skills in the Home – On-Demand

August 1, 2026 @ 8:00 amJune 11, 2027 @ 3:00 pm

Registration for this on demand training will close on June 10, 2027.  Children from birth to age 5 are learning the foundational skills of executive function: self-regulation, cognitive flexibility and working memory. When developmental delays, disabilities or sensory issues are present, these skills are critically essential in helping children be available for learning academics and social behaviors. Participants will learn how to create routines, use co-regulation skills and the types of games that help build these fundamental skills.  (Recorded 3/2025)

Please note:  You will receive a confirmation email with important information about how to access the on-demand video.  The voucher code will work between the dates of August 1, 2026 – June 11, 2027.  You must watch the video, complete the knowledge check, and ISBE evaluation before 3:00PM on June 11, 2027, to receive professional development credit.
