Do-It-Yourself Book Study: The Whole-Brain Child by Daniel J. Siegel and Tina Payne Bryson – Self Paced

Registration deadline is Monday, July 27, 2026, at 3:00 pm.  Starting July 1, 2026, through July 31, 2026, read your chosen book and complete the Google form at a time that fits into your schedule.  THIS BOOK STUDY MUST BE COMPLETED BY July 31st at 12:00 noon.

This do-it-yourself online book study explores The Whole-Brain Child by Daniel J. Siegel and Tina Payne Bryson. Participants will independently read and reflect through guided Google Form questions sent to them in their confirmation email. The study focuses on brain-based strategies to support emotional regulation, behavior, and relationships, with an emphasis on adapting these approaches to meet the diverse needs of young children, including those with disabilities. Please note that participants are responsible for purchasing their own book. Books are not provided by STAR NET.

Participants will receive 4.0 hours of credit for full participation, which includes reading the book, completing the Google form, and completing a STAR NET evaluation.    

Note: Approximately three weeks before the start date, registrants will receive an email to confirm receipt of their registration request and important instructions that should be viewed prior to starting the training.
