Kelly Wilson, M.A. ECC, works on multiple projects that provide support for young children who exhibit persistent, challenging behaviors. She is currently working at the University of Denver with the PELE Center supporting preschool sites with implementing the Learning Experiences: Alternatives for Preschoolers and Parents (LEAP) Preschool Model. She provides training, coaching, and focused support to administrators, state leadership teams, staff, teachers, and families in the Pyramid Model, Prevent Teach Reinforce (PTR), and Prevent Teach Reinforce for Young Children (PTR-YC). Ms. Wilson has worked in roles that include research assistant on a variety of projects with LEAP, research coordinator for the randomized control trial of PTR, co-author of Prevent Teach Reinforce: The School-Based Model of Individualized Positive Behavior Support editions 1 & 2, and co-author of the Prevent Teach Reinforce: for Young Children, the Early Childhood Model of Individualized Positive Behavior Support.  Additionally, Ms. Wilson worked with the Colorado Department of Education as a consultant. She has decades of experience in early childhood, special education, general education and inclusive education.
