Angela Searcy’s pronouns are she/her. Dr. Searcy holds a B.A. degree in English and secondary education with teacher certification a M.S. degree in early childhood development from Erikson Institute, and a Doctorate in Education and a Certificate in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health from Erikson Institute. Angela is the owner and founder of Simple Solutions Educational Services, a professional development company. An educator since 1990 Angela has experience at all levels of education. Angela is currently an adjunct faculty at Erikson Institute, the author of Push Past It! A Positive Approach to Challenging Classroom Behaviors (2019) with Gryphon House Publishing. And her Book Elevating Equity: Advice for Navigating Challenging Conversations in Early Childhood (2023)A credentialed developmental therapist through the state of Illinois and former neuro-developmental specialist, Angela has specialized training in neuroscience. Angela is an internationally recognized speaker and mental health consultant.
