Deborah Bruns is a professor emerita in the School of Education at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Her focus is young children with disabilities and delays, including assessment, instructional methods, and adaptations, with a specific interest in feeding. She is also a professional development provider and trainer. Prior to her academic position, Dr. Bruns worked as an educational therapist in New York City with medically fragile infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, many with feeding difficulties.
