Description: Participants will explore the components of the Early Learning Scale Preschool Assessment system; review the structure/components of the ELS; discuss the domains and each of the items within the domains; understand the assessment cycle; and practice scoring. Description: The Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale (ECERS) was designed to assess process quality by looking at what children directly experience in their Early Childhood classroom. This session will introduce participants to the newly updated ECERS tool, the ECERS-3, which will be used to assess Preschool for All and Preschool for All Expansion programs. Description: The purpose of this presentation is to describe instructional strategies for supporting young children with disabilities in inclusive early childhood settings. Dr. Barton will provide an overview of effective practices based on research and principles of applied behavior analysis. She will provide examples to illustrate high quality early childhood inclusive environments. She will outline strategies for embedding into ongoing activities in inclusive early childhood classrooms. Description: This introductory level training will provide an overview of the Ages & Stages-3 Questionnaires and Ages & Stages Social-Emotional-2. Participants will learn the benefits of screening, scoring procedures and considerations, interpret results as well as discuss follow-up recommendations, including making referrals.
